He was predeceased by : his parents, Cynthia Kenny and Joseph Simpson Sr.; his son Joey Simpson; and his sisters, Joette Simpson and Joan Simpson.
He is survived by : his daughters, Dawn Lentz Peter and Tammy Simpson; and his siblings, Vicky Simpson, Joann Simpson, JoJo Simpson, Frank Simpson and Billy Simpson. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
