He is survived by: his parents, Gloria Simms Mitchell and Wilbert Mitchell; his wife Tresa Denise Bryan (Hurst); his daughters, Shaneil Duncan (Jermaine), Trenise O'Nia Bryan, Roxanne Solan, Andreale Hyman and Shambria Hanson Kashayla Wright; his stepson Corey Wright; his siblings, Raymond, Wilbert, Michael Mitchell, Zilpha Allen, Michelle Cobb, Miranda Mitchell (Stephen) and Joan Phibbs (Winsome Robinson); and his grandchildren, Jaden, Jaelyn Duncan, Empriss, Elija, Emoni, Ebin Johnson, Dwaysanne Clarke and Samiyah Solan.
