He was predeceased by : his parents, Sounia Fried (Noveck) and Philip Fried; and his brother Ronald Fried. He is survived by : his wife Denise Fried (Mandel); his sisters, Rochelle Nalaboff (Lloyd) and Tamara Gerson (Rabbi Ronald); his sister-in-law Miriam Schwed (David); his sons, Joel Fried (Rebecca) and Joshua Fried (Lindsay); and his grandchildren, Adelina, Liora Fried, Dominic, Aria and Zoe Fried. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests that donations be made to Congregation Anshe Emeth, 240 Joslen Blvd., Hudson, NY 12534 according to his wishes.
