He was predeceased by: his parents, Vita Robinson (Telfer) and William Robinson; his former wife Paulette Robinson (Walthour); his son Andrew "Robby" Robinson; and his siblings, Eileen Davis, Lera Nelson and Franklin "Phidd" McPherson.

He is survived by: his former wives, Yvette and Hyacinth; his friend Theodosia "Teddy" Maria Scott; his sisters, Elaine "Kitty" Burnett and Carmen "Baby Dear" Edmond; and his children, Dalton "Devon" Robinson (Carol), Ludlow "Paul" Robinson, Winsome "Rosie" Watson, Rachel Collins (Daren) and Robert "Mitch" Robinson Jr.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
