She was predeceased by : her parents, Eliza Jane Webb and Willie Williams; her husband Edward Brown; and her children, Kenneth Edward Brown and Regina Lizanne Hall.
She is survived by : her son Vance Gordon Smith (Willis Dupris Smith); her brother Ricardo Wise; her stepsons, Mark (Elba), Phillip Ramsey, Dan Tollin (Carmen) and Steven Smith (Mimi); her son-in-law Keith Hall; her grandchildren, Amber Poindexter (Michael), Ashlee Romero (Keith), Spencer, Quintan Hall and Leonardo Wise; and her close friend Bessie Royal.
