He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shoemaker and Florabell Shoemaker; his brothers, George and Bryan Shoemaker; and his daughter Vicki Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughters, Sharon (Theodore Huggins) and Gail (James Oliver); his grandchildren, Kelli, Theodore Huggins and Dominique Westerman; and his great grandchildren, Amya and Antonio Westerman.
