He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schmidt and Anna Schmidt; his former wife Lenore; his sisters, Betty (Honey) and Greti (Bernhard); and his brothers-in-law, Richard and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Fritzie; his sisters, Hildegard and Anna-Marie; his daughters, Kristina and Kirsten (Sean Murtagh); his brother-in-law Robert Jauch (Barbara); and his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Michael, Jorchim, Sylvia, Marion, Margit, Hildegard, Ulli, Jutta and Elke. He is also survived by wives, husbands and great nieces and nephews.
