She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas; and her children, John Gilbert and Barbara Gilbert. She is survived by: her children, Julie Potter (Robert) and Brad Gilbert (Lisa); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kelly, Tom (Leslie), Chris of Katie, TJ, Bradley and George; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Everly, Hayden and Eva.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old First Presbyterian Church (125 Main St, Huntington, NY 11743). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (45 Huntington Rd, Huntington, NY 11743).
