He is survived by: his children, Elaine Cullen (Richard), Christine Smith (Donald) and Clayton Ose; his sister Elizabeth'Betty'Ose; and his grandchildren, Tracy Cullen Williams (Troy), Trevor Cullen, Donald Smith, III, Casey Squires (Jerod) and Brandon Smith (Lindsay). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel - St. Peters Church (185 Hudson View Dr, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
