With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie C. Arvanetes of Hyde Park, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marie has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael J. DuPilka and Margaret T. Galvin DuPilka; her husband James N. Arvanetes; and her son Nicholas J. Arvanetes. She is survived by: her daughter Dawn M. Harris of Ocala, FL; her grandsons, Andrew J. Harris (Shannon) of Rhinebeck and Austin M. Harris (Chelsea) of Hyde Park; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson Cole Harris and Penelope Austin Harris.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
