She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cole and Grace Cole (Place). She is survived by: her husband Dean Charles Caswell of Paul's Church; her daughters, Elizabeth Canevari (John) and Jennifer Oppenheim (William); her grandchildren, Gianna Kaloyeros (Alexander), Hannah Oppenheim, Nicholas Canevari (Caitlyn), Olivia MacIntire (Jack), Samuel Oppenheim, Maryrose Canevari and Jack Canevari; her great grandchildren, Francis, Giancarlo Kaloyeros, Claire and Elise Canevari; and her brother Stephen Cole (Yvonne). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many beloved cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. James' Episcopal Church (4526 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the St. James Churchyard Cemetery (4526 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538).
In lieu of flowers, Patty's family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
