He was predeceased by: his father Matthew X. Wagner. He is survived by: his mother Paula C. Wagner (Moore); his wife Mary Beth Burns; his siblings, Matthew X. (Kathleen), Mark V. Wagner (Barbara) and Linda Litwin (Steve); and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Mardon (Bryan), Patricia Eidam (Edward) and Constance Bitterman (James). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel (229 Hudson View Dr, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).

“I had the pleasure of working with Pete for many years. We shared memories of Christmas and I would tell him about my Charles Dickson village novelty collection. He shared his love for Martha's Vineyard. I enjoyed playing golf with him in our company outing and was thankful for the times he carried us with some unbelievable shots.
