He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Blaise and Elenor Blaise (Nuese); his brother Tommy Blaise; his in-laws, Paul and Evelyn Janeka; his brothers-in-law, Paulie Janeka and Ralph Atkinson; and his nephew Eric Atkinson.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Blaise; his children, Kristin Blaise of Tyler, TX and Chad Blaise (Tara) of Takoma, MD; his granddaughters, Ella and Audrey; his sister Lynda Atkinson; his nephews, Rick Gray (Amanda) and Roger; his niece Lily; and his friends, David C., Bob and Cheryl C..
