She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Crossett and Grace Crossett (Miller); her significant other Joe; her siblings, Kenneth Crossett, Bess Crossett and Diane Rodden; the father of her children Hamilton T. Kane; and her husband Joseph Oleksak.
She is survived by: her close friends, Carol Mayo and Barbara Brooks; her sister-in-law Bernice Crossett; her children, Karen (Ron Mower), Linda (Brad Buhr), Paula (Eldon Ward), Roy (Michelle Kane) and Jesse (Lisa Kane); her stepchildren, Joseph Oleksak Jr. and Stephanie Urban; and her great grandchildren, Jeremy Klink, Amanda, Kevin Fike and Randi. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as several devoted nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (527 E Albany St, Herkimer, NY 13350). A prayer was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery.
