We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Joseph Charles Hartigan Sr. of Ilion, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Charles and Mary Grace Hartigan (Loughlin); his brother Robert W. Hartigan; and his brothers-in-law, Don Dack, Tom Bergin and Jim Bergin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Helen Bergin; his children, Joseph Charles Hartigan, Jr. (Michael) and Jennifer Hartigan Stutz (Matthew Lawrence Hartigan); his grandchildren, Grace Caroline Hartigan Stutz, Patrick Robert Hartigan Stutz and Elizabeth Joy Hartigan Stutz; his sister Mary Jane Hartigan Vooris; his sisters-in-law, Adeline Dack and Lorraine Hartigan; his godchildren, Megan Elizabeth Dack Dischavi (Anthony) and Ryan Vooris (Teresa); his sibling's children, Meghan Vooris, Greg Fylak, Jay Fylak, Wesley Bergin and Shawn Bergin (Joseph); his godson Micheal Joseph Francis Scouten II; and also Michael Joseph Scouten (Anthony). He is also survived by cousins, grand nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Annunciation Church (50 West St, Ilion, NY 13357).
