She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Bawolak and Mary Behun Bawolak; her husband Theodore Melnick of Augustine's Church; her brother Stephen; her sister-in-law Grace Bawolak; and her sisters, Anna (Charles Casler), Helen (Edward Pelko), Olga (Chris Kafer) and Susan (George Moore).

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Audley (Edward) of Bridgeport, Gary Melnick of New Hartford and David Melnick of Schertz, TX; her grandchildren, Jennifer of Camillus, John (Katy) of Minburn, Kelly of Ilion, Shane of California and Amber of Texas; and her great grandchildren, Theo, Matthew and Braydon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
