He was predeceased by : his parents, Berton Johnson and Jane Russell Johnson. He is survived by : his close friend Debra LaMondie of Ilion; and his sister Susan Akerly.

In honor of his valiant battle with cancer, donations in Thomas' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
