He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Smith and Marjorie Smith (Slaght); his son Jerry Smith; the mother of his children Linda Smith; and his siblings, Jim Smith, Anita McFall and Edith Crumb.

He is survived by : his daughters, Cheri Miller (Rob), Amy Woodin (Mike) and Annette Smith; his daughter-in-law Lauri Smith; his grandchildren, Dannielle Smith (Adam), Ryan Smith, Jeremy Smith, Emily Mix (Bob), Nicole Hicks (Brandon), Alanie Woodin, Max Miller (Kristin), Alicia Conover (Nick) and Lisa Delp; his great grandchildren, Alfie, Ellen, Lucy, Lincoln, Sam and Mason; his siblings-in-law, Walt McFall and Barbara Smith Redman; and his friends, Glen Beardsley and Claire McDonald.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Interlaken Sportsmens Club (8561 Tunison Rd, Interlaken, NY 14847).
