He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wesgate and Mary Wesgate; and his sister Joyce White. He is survived by: his wife Diane Wesgate; his children, Jody Ann Wesgate and Timothy Donald Wesgate (Sarah); his grandchildren, Anna, Mckenzie and Finnegan Wesgate; his nieces and nephews, Robin Brannon, Donna Wesgate, Gail Westbrook, Rich Sukackes and Helen Jones; and his cousins, Terry DeRomanis and Fran Peretta.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Wounded Warriors or Tunnel to Towers.

“I have known Don since 1989. That’s when I first joined local 33. He definitely had a tough exterior and was a guy that told you how he thought it was ! But once you got to know him he was quite an interesting person. He would talk about welding or ironwork in general or fabricating steel for peoples docks or working on his home or rental property or his time share or etc.. etc.. Always had something for conversation. He will be very missed by so many. Thank you Don”
