We announce the death of Evelyn Bailey of Irondequoit, New York, who passed away on September 1, 2026. Evelyn’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emera "Butch" Bailey; her siblings, Joseph Boggs and Anita Rothbart; and her parents, Yetta Kahn Rubman and John T. Boggs.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Varenka, David Varenka (Jessica Ong) and Daniel Varenka (Karen Stocks); and her stepdaughters, Suzanne Peacock (Robert) and Julia Gillespy (Mark). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and adored grandchildren and great grand-children.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Vesper (1 Capron St, Rochester, NY 14607).
