The memory of Joseph Sargent of Irondequoit, New York, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He is survived by: his children, Steve Sargent (Cathy) of California and Sue Pomponio (Tom); his grandchildren, Mark Pomponio, Sarah McKeon (Mike) and Evan Sargent; his great grandchildren, Joseph Pomponio, Ayden Pomponio, Quinn Sargent and Greer Sargent; his girlfriend Sue Powell; and his close friend Jim Garrity.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dreier-Giltner Funeral Home (1717 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14617).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease or to AutismUp 50 Science Parkway, Rochester, NY 14620.
