He was predeceased by : his son Michael; his parents, Salvatore Sr. and Sarah; his brother Salvatore Jr.; his in-laws, Josephine and Carmen Basilio; and his brother-in-law Angelo Di Biase.

He is survived by : his nephew Salvatore III; his wife Rose Marie Ferreri; his daughters, Michelle Ferreri (Robert Keem), Toni Lynn Van Bramer (Kurt) and Rose Marie Lindegren (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katherine, Samantha Jacobia and Joshua Van Bramer; his brother Anthony Ferreri (Marlene); and his sister-in-law Judy Di Biase (David Kane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
