He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Salvato; his parents, John Salvato and Louise Salvato; and his in-laws, Larry and Nancy Stavalone.

He is survived by: his children, Kim Salvato (Steven), John (Danielle) and Larry Salvato (Sherri); his grandchildren, Pat, Brianna, Brittany, Ryan, Lauren and Jordyn; his great grandchildren, Chase and Stella; his siblings, Jimmy Salvato, Rosemary and Debbie; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine (Dale) and Maryann.
