He is survived by: his significant other Gary Hallinen; his daughter Adele Gibson (Andy) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Everett and Emery; his former wife Donna Benier Taylor (Alan); his brother Terry Benier (Jessie); and his nephew Kevin of Tennessee. He is also survived by several first cousins as well as many friends.
