He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Shear; his children, Eugene Shear (Lori) and Jenny Dixon (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Alexander Shear, Rebecca Shear, Matthew Dixon and Allison Dixon.
A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
