We announce the death of Alfred Paul Lorenzo in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 92. Alfred will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearla Lorenzo and Louis Lorenzo. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Schon; his daughters, Susan Smith of Atlanta, GA and Christine Vivian Lorenzo of Ithaca, NY; his sons-in-law, Michael Smith and Marek Przezdziecki; and his grandchildren, Kendall, Julia, Rex, Sam and Ned.
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to either Literacy Rochester or the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the Rochester Institute of Technology, both of which were important to Al for many years.
