She was predeceased by : her son Rick Ryan; her brother Gerald Grutzius; and her parents, Betty Hartson and Walter Grutzius. She is survived by : her brother Michael Grutzius of Tucson, AZ; her children, Melissa Roland of Myrtle Beach, SC and James Ryan (Cheryl) of Newfield, NY; her stepchildren, David Ryan (Jennifer) of Newfield, NY, John Ryan of Freeville, NY, Cynthia Sedlacek (Karel) of Ithaca, NY and Deborah Ferrell (Dan) of Reston, VA.; and her grandchildren, Brynn, Connor, Blake, Christina, Phillip, Anneke, Karel, Nancy and Eugene. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
