She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Merton Herndon and Azlean of Washington; her daughter Valerie Magee; and her brothers, Charles Hendon Jr., William Herndon (Bill), James Herndon and George Herndon.
She is survived by : her husband John R. Bright; her children, Walter L. Magee, Edward C. Magee, Crystal A. Cannon (Magee), Duane H. Magee and George L. Longmire; and her siblings, Wilma Douglas, Dorthea Hundley, Sandy Lisseck, Duane Hundley and Reggie Herndon. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
