We bid farewell to Carl E. Brewer of Ithaca, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2026 at the age of 77. Carl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Carl shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carl farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brewer and Mara Longhouse Brewer; and his siblings, Jacqueline Luce, Linda Boynton, Richard Brewer and John Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Eckert Brewer; and his sons, Bryon Brewer of California and Jason Brewer of Ithaca. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ithaca American Legion Building Fund, 1231 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY 14850 or to a charity of one's choice.
