He is survived by: his parents, Ingrid Zabel and Mark Zabel; his sister Rose Zabel; his grandparents, Roald and Eva Hoffmann; his uncle Hillel Hoffmann; his aunt Sharon Webber; his cousin Sam Webber; his aunt Betty Caputo; and his cousins, Anna Caputo, Sarah Caputo and Matthew Caputo.
