She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Jacobs and Maxine Jacobs. She is survived by: her husband Laurent; her children, Sam and Claire; her siblings, Cris, Jill and Beth; and her pet Leila. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Donations in Cathy's memory may be made to the Women's Fund of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County or to the charity of one's choice.
