It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Nelson Woodaed of Ithaca, New York, born in Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lena D. Ward. She is survived by: her children, Tyrone Nelson-Fish (Kristy Downham) of Newfield, NY, Danita Butler-Fish and LaMont Nelson-Fish of Ithaca, NY.; her siblings, Dora Welch of Niagara Falls and Charles Nelson of Middletown, NY; her aunt Arlean Nelson of Las Vegas, Nevada.; and her close friend Johnny Wright. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Diane's name to Meals on Wheels, Calvary Baptist Church or to her grandchildren c/o of her daughter Danita Butler-Fish .
