It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Buechel of Ithaca, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Dorothy Buechel to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Staub and Lucy Staub; her daughter Elaine; and her great grandchild Jace. She is survived by : her husband Ed Buechel; and her children, Richard Buechel (Sharon), Susan Seacord (Brian), Patricia Buechel (Jack Sherman) and David Buechel (Raquel Genel). She is also survived by four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospicare of Ithaca.
