It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elliot Rubinstein of Ithaca, New York, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhea Rubinstein and Sam Rubinstein; and his siblings-in-law, Rob Roark and Karen Rubinstein. He is survived by: his wife P. A. Rubinstein; his siblings, Anita Lipman and Bernard Rubinstein; his children, Sarah and Mark (Meghan); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Ella, Patrick and Micah; and his great grandchild Elliot. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Temple Beth-El (402 N Tioga St, Ithaca, NY 14850). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery (605 E Shore Dr, Ithaca, NY 14850).
