With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francesco Ferrara (Ithaca, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano and Salvatora; and his brothers, Guiseppe (Pepino) of Corato, Italy., Antonio (Tonino) of Corato, Italy. and Luigi of Corato, Italy..

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ferrara (Mancini); his siblings, Savino (Patricia) of Ithaca, NY, Felice (Luisa), Teresa and Benedetta (Tina) of Corato; and his children, Maryann Barry (Mark), Debi Benson (Rich), Susie Ferrara, Frank Ferrara Jr. (Lucy) and Joe Ferrara (Terise). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
