He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude A. and Carolyn E. (Schlageter); his wife Mary (Morris); his brothers, Thomas and Frederick Facer; and his grandson Matthew Maier.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Marie Maier (William) and F. Thomas Facer (Margaret Warner); and his grandsons, Brian (Corina), Thomas (Dana) and Joseph Maier (Kimberly). He is also survived by five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
