With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Davenport of Ithaca, New York, born in Elkland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Davenport to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Burnell Davenport and Freda Davenport (Lattimer); his son Andrew Davenport; and his brothers, Conrad and Philip Davenport.

He is survived by : his wife Florence Davenport; his children, Jamie Davenport (Rebekah), Laurel Capobianco (Jeff), Ted Davenport (Patrick Magee) and Jodie Davenport; his grandchildren, Jamie Davenport Jr. (Dove Dewey), Austin, Elizabeth Davenport and Ryan Capobianco; and his brother Mahlon Davenport.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home (23 South St, Trumansburg, NY 14886). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
