In loving memory of George E. Ross Jr. of Ithaca, New York, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, who departed this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 89. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his sister Priscilla Shideler (John); his brother-in-law Tom (Molly); his son Donald (Christine); his grandchildren, J. Thomas (Kathy), Amy Iles (David), David Iles (Kenna), Andy Iles (Erin), Emily Annicharico (Paul), Audrey Kwan (Kevin), Sean Ross, Gillian Ross and Taylor Ross Weston Turville (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Ava, Zara, Mia Annicharico, Cameron, Mason, Rory Iles, Miles, Oliver Kwan and Penelope Ross; and also Kay.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Chapel (160 Graham Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850).
In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution in George's memory to Racker, an organization George and Kay supported for the superb services provided to their grandchildren and so many other community members in need or Christ Chapel, a community where George and Kay made many dear friends over the past several years.
