He was predeceased by: his parents, George Trutt and Cora Mae Trutt (Fetzor) of Milton; his wife Sandra Trutt; and his half-brothers, Clyde Hendricks and Larry Hendricks.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Trutt (Wesley Richardson) of Willseyville, VendaMae Harris (Kenneth Harris Jr) of Ithaca and Leilani Slattery (Mark Slattery) of Ithaca.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at 178 Enfield Main Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to two organizations that George gave countless hours to as a volunteer: Tompkins County 4-H, C/O Venda Harris, 615 Willow Ave, Ithaca, NY 14860; or Enfield Valley Grange #295, Community Service Projects, 168 Enfield Main Rd, Suite 12, Ithaca, NY 14850.
