She is survived by: her husband Charles Wharton; her children, Carl Gene Wharton (Lucinda Jane Mallery) of Freeville, NY, Kristi Anna Wharton (David McNear Rand) of Barrington, RI and Mark Aplin Wharton (Leslie Aplin Wharton) of Bellingham, WA; her granddaughters, Carolyn Jane Wharton (Lauren Elizabeth Whaley) of Minneapolis, MN, Katherine McClain Rand (Max Jacob Goldberg) of Los Angeles, CA and Laura McNear Rand (Trevor Hummon Fry) of Belmont, MA; and her great grandchildren, June Michel Wharton and Margot Brooks Goldberg.
