He was predeceased by: his parents, DeEtta Smith and Edward Smith; and his nephew Antwon. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Theo Anthony, Jarrett Anthony, Layla Anthony and Marcellus Smith; his siblings, Joseph Smith, Gary Smith, Ivan Smith, Marshall Smith, Joyce Smith, Marcella Smith Wilson and Bonnie Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Takisha, Megan, Victor Smith, Gary Smith Jr. and Quest Smith.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Greensprings Natural Cemetery (1000 NY-13, Horseheads, NY 14845).
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Guy's lifelong love for nature, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Ithaca Bird Sanctuary in Guy Smith's name.
