It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Schantz of Ithaca, New York, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parent Baptist; her husband Karl; her siblings, Augustus Nasmith, Agnes Johnston (Ann), Mary Means and Margaret Wedge; her granddaughter Lila Schantz; and her nephew Gus Nasmith.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sarah Schantz (Eric Hilton) of Odessa, Faith Schantz of Pittsburgh, Karen Schantz of Ithaca and Jane Schantz of Ithaca; her sons-in-law, Eric Hilton, Tom Pandaleon and Alan Bargar; her grandchildren, Erin, Kyle Schantz-Hilton, Asa Fox, Beyvan Schantz, Matthew, Molly and Liddy Bargar; and her great grandchildren, Sylvia, Isaac, Wiley, August and Vivian.
