It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helena F. VanDyke of Ithaca, New York, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Helena's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Helena has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace VanDyke and Dorothy VanDyke (Andrews); and her brothers, Arthur "Art" VanDyke and David T. VanDyke. She is survived by: her sister Cora Sue Davis; and her sister-in-law Francis VanDyke (Oliver). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
