She was predeceased by: her grandson Aaron Fleming (Paula); her sisters, Frieda, Rachel and Alice; and her husband Philip.

She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Lewin Fleming; her grandchildren, Erika Fleming and Joshua Fleming; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Austin and Amaya; and her brother Gerald Gordon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I have such fond memories of “Mommy Hindy”, as well as Daddy Phill” who took such good care of me when I was a young child in Ithaca. She was always kind and I felt so safe in their home. My parents kept in touch with Hindy and Phill for many years. We are sad to learn of their passing and wish comfort to Elaine and the extended family.”
