He was predeceased by: his foster mother Gertrude H. Chilson. He is survived by: his children, Sherrie L. Falardeau (Jacquelin) of Ottawa, Canada, Roger L. Vallely (Lavinia) of Wasilla, Alaska, Jennifer M. Russell (Lonnie Barber) of Burdett, NY and AmyJo M. Wilson of Ithaca, NY. He is also survived by nine grandsons and five granddaughters; many great grandchildren; sisters; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Perkins Funeral Home (55 W Main St, Dryden, NY 13053). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Perkins Funeral Home (55 W Main St, Dryden, NY 13053).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Groton Assembly of God Church, 701 S. Main St., Groton, NY 13073 or the Varna Methodist Church, 965 Dryden Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.
