She is survived by: her sisters, Myra Giberson and Marie Jordan; her grandchildren, Melissa Fleischacker (Ben) of Hankinson, ND, Austin Kron of Ithaca, NY, Matthew Simpson (Maddie) of Horseheads, NY, Matthew Shutter of Alpine, NY, Desiree Simpson of Elmira, NY and Morgan Shutter (Nicole) of Horseheads, NY.; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Kron, Bentley Simpson, Aubree, Mackenzie Shutter, Gage and Roni Sue Fleischacker.
The inevitable conclusion of the long goodbye (Alzheimer's) arrived for Janice Kron on May 7, 2022 at the age of 77 while a resident at Beechtree Center for Rehabilitation in Ithaca, NY.
