She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Strickland and Helen Strickland (Hartzell); her daughters, Theresa and Penny; and her granddaughter Amanda.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick Hughes; her children, Jon Hughes (Carole), Amanda LeMaro (Arel) and Aaron Hughes (Nadine); her grandsons, Andrew and Danny Hughes; and her children, Olivia and Daniel LeMaro.
