“It breaks our heart to hear of Karen's passing. Several years ago we tried to get in touch with her because we were best friends with Dottie and Joe. We lost contact after the last time we saw them when we visited Ithaca again. My husband was a graduate student at Cornell University. We spent so much time with all of them since we lived right beneath them.”

“My husband and I were so sad to hear of Karen's passing. We remember her as a little girl. We rented at 909 N. Cayuga Street and became best friends with Dottie and Joe and Karen always played with our son Emil. We loved all of them. I remember , I believe that Karen had a cousin who became an English teacher. Her father's name was Hunter Johns. Could someone get in touch at [email protected].”
