She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lee Page and Roscoe Lyman Sr.; and her siblings, Marie McCoy, Catherine Watkins, Roscoe Lyman Jr. and Willie Lyman.

She is survived by: her husband Ramon A. Melton; her siblings, Mary Thibault (Thomas) of Geneva, NY and Gene Lyman of Ithaca, NY; her nephew George English of Groton, NY; and her close friend Trevor Connor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
