She was predeceased by : her parents, Antonio Amato and Ida Carrigan; her foster mother Lulu Tarti; her sister Julia Spencer; her nephew Daniel Spencer; and her friend Dorothy O'Dell.
She is survived by : her nieces, Janice Thornton (Gerry Angel) and Elicia Spencer; her great-nieces, Wendy Pierce Carlisle (Mark Carlisle) and Katie Arthur (Scott Arthur); her great-nephew Mark Pierce; and also, Madison Arthur and Zachary Arthur.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
